Re: Storing zip files |
OK, stand by, this is a bit complicated. You can:
1. Upload your music and click the 'no derivations' box when you import it. This will mean there is a ZIP of your entire release available, but it's 'ZIP on the fly', which means it acts a bit weird with OS X. This is what a lot of people do, though.
2. You _used_ to be able to get ZIP versions of all your derivations if you chose to have derivatives made, but that's been turned off for now for space reasons.
3. You _could_ upload a ZIP file with each release, but we don't really recommend it.
So I would say - go for option 1.

Re: Storing zip files |
ok, the first option works fine!
Do you know how can I add the "Do not make derivations of this show (Ogg files, lower bitrate MP3s, ZIP files)" to a already done release? I didn't know the trick when I've done my first upload and I would like to modify it know. When I edit the release, I can check the option but it doesn't chance anything to the content of it...
Thanks

Re: Storing zip files |
Why don't you recommend uploading zip files? How about if I have three formats of album art (e.g EPS, TIF, PDF) that I want to provide grouped together? Uploading only files will not allow me to group my files in such a manner.
